Sun and Sky Artists is
an online directory of artists and craftsmen of the American Southwest.

Membership in the directory
is available to artists and craftsmen whose primary residences

are located in Arizona,
Colorado,
New
Mexico,
Texas and Utah.

PLEASE NOTE:

You must have your own
artist web site or web page (i.e. a web site or web page that is owned
and/or fully maintained by you, the artist) to qualify for a Basic FREE
Membership listing.  We cannot link to a web page that is provided
by a gallery where your work is being shown or to a web page provided by
another online art directory unless you have full editorial and maintenance
control over the web page.

A
link to the Sun and Sky Artists web site at www.sunandskyartists.com from
your
web site/page is not required, but is greatly appreciated.

Don't have your own artist

What Is Required to Have a Listing in
the Directory

Your artist name as you want
it to appear in your listing

Your artistic mediums, i.e.
painting, photography, jewelry, etc. (see the list of current mediums
in the Browse by Medium section of the directory
- new artistic mediums will be added, if deemed appropriate)
    • 


  • 
The city and state of your
primary residence
    • 


  • 
A brief statement describing
yourself and/or your art (your artist statement should be written in
the 3rd person - we reserve the right to edit your artist statement if
it does not conform to the requirements of the directory)
    • 


  • 
The link to your web site
(your
web site must include graphic representations of your art work)
    • 


  • 
A digital image of your art
in horizontal format only (the image must represent your art work for
the medium in which it is being submitted)
    • 







How to Submit Your Artist Content
for Your FREE Membership



    

  • 
Send a separate
email for each of the appropriate categories (art mediums) your art belongs
in (up to three max) to kwilliams@kchisos.com
(NOTE: subject line will auto-fill)
    • 


  • 
Attach your representational
graphic image file for the appropriate category with your email submission(s)
- image file should be medium to high resolution in JPEG format (NOTE:
because of the design of the Sun and Sky Artists web site, a graphic image
representing your work must be included with your Free Membership Listing
- image file should be horizontal in orientation - we reserve
the right to crop the image to fit the formatting required for the Sun
and Sky Artists web site)

Include as plain text in
the body of your email your artist specific information: artist name, location,
art medium, descriptive statement and web site/page link - DO NOT send
your textual content as a file attachment

REMEMBER: for more than one
categorical listing, you must send a separate email for each category and
the image file submitted must be representative of the category for which
you are submitting (i.e. an image file for the Paintings category must
be of a painting, an image file for the Jewelry category must be of jewelry,
and so on)

  • 
New member listings are generally
added within 3 days of submission.  Listings by artists' names are
always listed alphabetically in that section of the directory.  Listings
by artistic medium and geographic location are added to the bottom of the
list for these categories.  Members who subscribe early on are ranked
higher than those who subscribe after them - first come, first serve.
